Outstanding collection of posters from the Topps "Wanted Posters" series. Issued by Topps in 1967, 1975, and 1980; these unusual sets each contain twenty-four posters that feature a variety of everyday people, such as mother, father, and teacher among others, "wanted" for humorous "crimes" such as "refusing to increase allowances" or "assigning too much homework." The dimensions of the posters varied slightly from year to year, ranging from 9.5 by 18 inches to 12 by 20 inches. This collection consists of a 1967 near-complete set (16 of 24 posters), complete sets from 1975 (24) and 1980 (24), three different wrappers, and an unopened 1980 pack. The posters range in condition from Vg-Ex to Nr/Mt with a few lesser due to tears in the fragile stock, heavier gum stains, or toning related to age. The unopened pack and the three wrappers (one from each series) are in Excellent condition. This is an outstanding collection from this unusual and popular Topps nonsport issue.
