Rarely offered complete set of sixty 1962-1963 Shirriff Hockey Coins. This extremely attractive full-color metal coin set was issued one insert coin per package with bags of potato chips. The set is highlighted by several Hall of Famers and stars including Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Jacques Plante, and Jean Beliveau. The coins are bright and crisp, grading 35% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt (including a few Nr/Mt-Mt) and 65% lesser. One coin (#55 Dave Keon) is graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. This is the first complete set of these coins that we can recall offering! Because cards naturally get most of the attention among hockey inserts, Shirriff coins are often overlooked, but are one of the most unusual and attractive hockey issues of the 1960s.
