Graded EX-MT+ 6.5 by BGS. High-grade example of #101 Michael Jordan (Chicago Bulls) from the 1984-1985 Star Basketball series. This card, issued as part of team sets produced by the Star Basketball Company, predates Jordan's 1986-1987 Fleer rookie card. The 1984-1985 Star basketball issue is extremely condition-sensitive due to its red flush-to-the-border design. The offered example displays a hint of wear on all four corners (more so on the upper right), bright colors, a flawless image, and centering toward the left. The reverse is flawlessly clean. This is a tremendous example in exceptional condition of one of Michael Jordan's most desirable early cards. Reserve $2,000. Estimate (open).
