Graded NM+ 7.5 by BGS (submitted by REA). Ultra high-grade example of #101 Michael Jordan (Chicago Bulls) from the 1984-1985 Star Basketball series. This card, issued as part of team sets produced by the Star Basketball Company, predates Jordan's 1986-1987 Fleer rookie card. The 1984-1985 Star basketball issue is extremely condition-sensitive due to its red flush-to-the-border design. The offered example displays a hint wear on all four corners, bright colors, a flawless image, and centering toward the left. The reverse is flawlessly clean. The centering is all that keeps this card from grading higher. This is a tremendous example in exceptional condition of one of Michael Jordan's most desirable early cards. Reserve $2,500.
