Presented is an original 1986-1987 Fleer basketball uncut final production sheet consisting of 132 different cards with fully printed reverses. This 132-card uncut sheet, arranged in twelve rows of eleven cards, represents a complete set! This set marks the first basketball set produced by Fleer since 1961. Fleer stopped producing basketball cards after 1961 while its powerhouse competitor Topps ruled the basketball-card market from the late 1960s until the early 1980s. This set is loaded with superstars and rookie cards of future Hall of Famers, highlighted by the rookie card of Michael Jordan. This 132-card sheet measures approximately 43.25 x 28.25 inches. Because of the large size, it is susceptible to minor imperfections. The sheet has various minor condition flaws such as creases and edge wear, and a small tear on the top edge. This sheet is very bright, clean, and extremely impressive! Assigning an overall grade to uncut sheets, especially one of this size, can be extremely difficult. Many of the interior cards on this sheet would grade Mint. The important Michael Jordan card is clean, both front and back, with no creasing, and a flawless image. Despite the minor technical flaws, this sheet has tremendous visual appeal, and would be an outstanding addition to any advanced basketball, Michael Jordan, or uncut-sheet collection. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot. Reserve $10,000. Estimate (open).
