Outstanding uncut sheet originating from "The Land of The Rising Sun." Japan was one of the first foreign countries in which the American game of baseball became extremely popular. That fact led to the production of numerous baseball card issues featuring all the great stars of the day from Japan. Starting in approximately 1930, numerous sets of cards of various styles were issued in Japan. Presented is a complete 1950 JCM21 Menko uncut sheet of 53 cards in playing card style, highlighted by Babe Ruth as the Joker. The set also features numerous Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame players including Bessho, Fujimura, Kawakami, and Nishizawa. An ornate design is printed in bold blue on the reverse of each card. The sheets presents as Near Mint with visible sheet dimensions of 15 x 10 inches. Beautifully framed and matted to the total dimensions of 23-1/2 x 18-3/4 inches.
