Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. 1888 N172 Old Judge of Hall of Famer Connie Mack (pose #285-1) dating from his playing days as a catcher with the Washington Nationals. There are only three poses of Connie Mack in the Old Judge set. All are rare and highly prized by collectors. This card displays a very strong image, with outstanding contrast. It has a few chips of paper loss on the front (none of which impact Mack's image) and a couple light creases. There is evenly rounded corners and an irregular cut along the right edge. Despite the condition issues, this is a presentable and affordable example of Hall of Famer Connie Mack from the legendary Old Judge set. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
