Presented is a complete 66-card set of 1965 Philadelphia Gum/Glidrose "James Bond" trading cards, entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. Based on the popular films starring Sean Connery in his role as Secret Agent 007, these black-and-white cards feature still images from three movies: "From Russia with Love," "Goldfinger," and "Dr. No." The reverse of each card features a description of the scene and the specific movie credit. This is an extraordinary set, ultra high quality throughout, and with a simply amazing degree of consistency. A tremendous amount of time and energy has been invested in the assembly of this high-grade set, with a concern for all condition factors, including centering and also overall eye-appeal. PSA Grading Composite: MINT 9 (18 cards): #4, 9, 13, 15, 18, 22, 27, 29, 33, 48, 53, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 63 and 66. NM-MT 8 (42 cards): #2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 49, 50, 52, 54, 55, 56 and 64. NM 7 (6 cards): #1, 11, 41, 51, 62 and 65. This is a remarkably crisp, fresh, ultra high-grade complete set of one of the most popular of all 1960s nonsport issues. The SMR value is $1,962.
