Rarely offered complete 24-card set of R76 "In History's Spotlight" issued by the Sperry Candy Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The front of each borderless card features a multicolor illustration of famous events in American history. A brief description of the event is printed on the back of the card. Condition is 21% Ex or slightly better, 33% Vg to Vg-Ex, 17% Gd, and 29% lesser. Two cards (#4 and 11) have the title "In History's Spotlight" printed at the top of the card on the reverse. This is a rarely offered and very attractive 1930s nonsport gum-card set with outstanding eye-appeal. Total: 24 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
