Full ticket issued for the heavyweight title bout between champion Ezzard Charles and Joe Louis held at Yankee Stadium on September 27, 1950. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. This is one of only three graded at this level, with just three graded higher. Joe Louis came out of retirement in 1950 to fight Ezzard Charles in the hopes of regaining his heavyweight championship. Although he was an underdog, Charles went the distance and retained his championship by scoring a unanimous decision over the "Brown Bomber." In doing so, Charles became the first fighter to go the distance with Louis and win. 7 x 2.5 inches. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
