Original unopened 36-count wax box of 1988-1989 Fleer basketball. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The box contains 36 wax packs, with each pack containing 12 cards and one sticker, for a total 432 cards and 36 stickers. The 1988-1989 Fleer set includes the rookie cards of Hall of Famers Reggie Miller, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and John Stockton, as well as cards of several other Hall of Famers, including Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Patrick Ewing. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Mint or Gem Mint cards of these stars. The box displays minor shelf wear. This is an outstanding unopened wax box from this very popular basketball issue. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
