Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Extraordinary original unopened wax pack of 1986-1987 Fleer basketball cards, designated as exhibiting a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Sticker on the reverse. This set marks the first basketball set produced by Fleer since 1961. Fleer stopped producing basketball cards after 1961 while its powerhouse competitor Topps continued to rule the basketball-card market from the late 1960s until the early 1980s. This set is loaded with superstars and rookie cards of future Hall of Famers, highlighted by the rookie card of Michael Jordan. Crisp, clean unopened wax pack in virtually perfect condition, looking as it did when it appeared in a box on a candy-store shelf in 1986.
