Minnesota Twins home jersey issued to Hall of Fame outfielder Kirby Puckett in 1995. The white knit pinstripe jersey is lettered "Twins" across the front and features the number "34" on the left breast and reverse. All letters and numerals are appliquéd in red on navy tackle twill. A white strip tag in the collar bears the uniform number and year ("34-95") stamped in black. A "Russell Athletic 50" label is located on the left front tail. A Twins team patch appears on the left sleeve. Puckett has signed the jersey twice in black marker, once on the right breast "Kirby Puckett/HOF" (grading "6," bleeding), and again on the reverse, "Kirby Puckett #34" ("7/8"). The jersey is original, as issued, with no alterations, and displays no wear. As noted in the accompanying LOA from Sports Investors Authentication, this jersey was most likely produced for the express purpose of being signed by Puckett as a presentation piece to a friend or fan. 1995 marked Puckett's twelfth and final season in the Majors, all of which was spent with the Twins. He finished his career with 207 home runs, 1,085 RBI, and a .318 lifetime average. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2001, his first year of eligibility. LOA from Bill Henderson and David Randolph/Sports Investors Authentication (for the jersey only). LOA from James Spence/JSA (for the signatures only). Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
