Ticket stub issued for Game 1 of the 1928 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, held at Yankee Stadium on October 4th. Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. This is the only example graded at this level, with NONE graded higher. The Yankees defeated the Cardinals 4-1 in Game 1, with Waite Hoyt limiting the Cardinals to three hits and Bob Meusel providing half the offense with a two-run homer in the fourth inning. The Yankees swept the Cardinals in the Series to capture their second consecutive World Championship. 2.75 x 4 inches.
