Official American League (Brown) ball signed on the sweet spot by Ted Williams, who has added the special inscription ".406" below his name. Williams' blue-ink signature and inscription grade "7/8" and contrast beautifully against the cream-colored background. This ball was signed under the auspices of Upper Deck and is accompanied by both a COA and corresponding hologram label (affixed to the ball) from the company. As noted in the COA, this is a limited-edition item and bears the hand-written limitation number "464/1941" in blue ink on a side panel. The ball displays light, scattered age toning and is otherwise in Near Mint condition. Pre-certified by Steve Grad and Brian Sobrero/Beckett Authentication Services. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
