Two New York Yankees payroll checks issued, respectively, to Cedric Durst and Mark Koenig, both of whom were members of the 1927 club. PSA/DNA has encapsulated each check and certified all the signatures as "Authentic." 1) Cedric Durst. Dated July 29, 1927, and made out to Durst in the amount of $795.96. Signed in black fountain pen on the front by team owner Jacob Ruppert (grading "7") and general manager Ed Barrow ("7"). Endorsed by Durst on the reverse in black fountain pen ("7"). 8.75 x 3 inches. In Very Good condition, with three vertical folds and normal bank cancellation holes and stamps. 2) Mark Koenig. Dated May 15, 1930, and made out to Koenig in the amount of $918.16. Signed in black fountain pen on the front by team owner Jacob Ruppert ("9") and general manager Ed Barrow ("10"). Endorsed by Koenig on the reverse in black fountain pen ("8," but partially obscured by the bank cancellation stamp). 8.75 x 3 inches. In Very Good to Excellent condition, with a vertical fold and normal bank cancellation holes and stamps. Total: 2 checks. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
