Complete original unopened "Michigan Test" box of 1983 Topps baseball. The box houses thirty-six packs with each pack containing fifteen cards, for a total of 540 cards. The "Michigan Test" boxes are identical to the regular-issued 1983 Topps wax boxes, except for the cards being housed in foil packs instead of standard wax packs. The 1983 Topps set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Wade Boggs, Tony Gwynn, and Ryne Sandberg, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, and Cal Ripken. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards of these stars, as well as many other top players of the day. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The store display box is bright and bold with moderate shelf wear.
