Outstanding pair of original unopened wax boxes from the 1981 Topps baseball series. Each box contains thirty-six packs. The 1981 Topps baseball set is highlighted by the rookie cards of Hall of Famers Harold Baines and Tim Raines, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Fernando Valenzuela (rookie), Johnny Bench, Nolan Ryan, and Kirk Gibson (rookie). While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within these boxes are Mint or Gem Mint cards of these stars, as well as many other top players of the day. Both boxes come shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The store display boxes are bright and bold with light shelf wear visible.
