Offered is a collection of six identical complete final production 132-card uncut sheets from the popular 1975 Topps baseball issue. Each sheet is highlighted by rookie examples of Hall of Famers Gary Carter and Jim Rice. Other key Hall of Famers include Aaron (#660), Brock, Carew, Gossage, Killebrew, Perez, Perry, F. Robinson, Torre, and B. Williams. Additional key cards featured are Lynn (rookie) and Hernandez (rookie). The sheets are arranged in twelve rows of eleven cards. Grading of sheets has always posed a problem as we naturally tend to grade a sheet as if it were a "big card" when really a grade does not capture the condition or visual appeal of a sheet (all the more so as sheets tend to be large). That is certainly the case here. Each sheet has been stored rolled and has survived in exceptional condition, with only minor imperfections mostly relegated to the edges, including tiny creases and minor edge and corner wear, all of which are common when dealing with these large uncut sheets. The interior cards remain, in many cases, Near Mint or better, with only a few affected by surface wrinkles or other minor flaws. The sheets have an outstanding overall appearance and would be ideal for display and framing. Six extremely impressive uncut sheets from this classic 1970s Topps issue, featuring a Gary Carter and Jim Rice rookie on each of the sheets. Dimensions: 28-1/4 x 43 inches. Total: 6 sheets. Please note: These sheets have been stored rolled for many years as intended and will be shipped as such. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
