Graded EX+ 5.5 by PSA. Very attractive mid-grade example of what is universally recognized as one of Mantle's most striking cards. Mantle had just come off back-to-back MVP years (1956 and 1957) and was looking for the trifecta in 1958. The card features an image of a young "Mick" set against a bright orange background. The offered example is very well centered, with vibrant colors, four strong corners displaying light touches of wear, and a clean reverse. Strong example bordering on Ex-Mt condition. Reserve $200.
