Complete original 1991-1992 NBA Hoops Series 1 Basketball unopened wax case containing twenty boxes with thirty-six packs per box. With each pack containing fifteen cards, the case represents a total of 10,800 cards. This lot originates from an exciting, fresh-to-the-hobby collection of unopened material consigned to this auction by a former wholesaler, who kept it in storage since the date of issue. The 1991-1992 NBA Hoops Series 1 basketball set includes the key cards of Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, and Magic Johnson. All the other stars of the day are also included. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, it would be hard to imagine that this case does not include a generous supply of Mint 9s and Gem Mint 10s of every player in the set. The original factory seals are intact. The outer box shows moderate shelf wear, including ink scribble on a panel.
