When Wacky Packages stickers were issued in the early 1970s, kids went wild. Whether it was the times, as youngsters became more enlightened about the manipulations of Madison Avenue, or the amusing irreverence of the artwork, the set struck a chord with the youth of America that continues to this day. Offered is an outstanding mid- to high-grade complete set run of Series 1 through 16, plus seventeen checklist puzzle sets.
1) 1973 1st Series Complete Set (30) Plus Complete Checklist Puzzle Set (9): Vg-Ex to Ex-Mt (averaging Ex), with a couple slightly higher and lower. Condition of the checklist puzzle set is Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex).
2) 1973 2nd Series Complete Set (33) Plus Complete Checklist Puzzle Set (9): Vg-Ex to Ex-Mt (averaging Ex+), with a few better. Condition of the checklist puzzle set is Ex-Mt overall.
3) 1973 3rd Series Complete Set (30) Plus Variation and Complete Checklist Puzzle Set (9): Vg-Ex to Ex-Mt (averaging Ex+), with a few better. Keys: Spit and Spill (“Spic and Span” on top and side, 75/25 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt) and Spit and Spill (corrected, Vg-Ex+). Condition of the checklist puzzle set is four Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt and five Vg to Vg-Ex.
