Collection of three complete unopened wax boxes of 1982 Donruss baseball cards. Each box contains thirty-six packs, with each pack containing fifteen cards, for a total of 1,620 cards. This lot originates from an exciting, fresh-to-the-hobby collection of unopened material consigned to this auction by a former wholesaler, who kept it in storage since the date of issue. The 1982 Donruss set features the rookie card of Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, and Rickey Henderson. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with respect to the grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that Mint or Gem Mint examples of Cal Ripken's rookie and other cards exist within these boxes. The boxes display light shelf wear overall. These boxes come shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). Total: 3 boxes.
