1973 to 1979 Topps Football Complete Set Collection (7 Sets, 3,722 Cards)

Substantial collection of seven complete Topps football sets spanning the years 1973 through 1979. Though they do not have as many cards as the Topps baseball sets of the era, and are not as valuable, these football sets are actually scarcer than their baseball counterparts. Each set is loaded with all the great stars and Hall of Famers of the decade. This collection consists of the following:
1) 1973 (528) Plus Team Checklists (26): Condition is 29% Nr/Mt, 56% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 15% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple lesser). All cards in the base set display light staining due to long-time storage in "vintage" plastic sheets, and have been slightly downgraded accordingly. Condition of the Team Checklists is Vg-Ex to Ex-Mt overall, averaging Ex. Keys: #15 Bradshaw (Ex-Mt), 77 Shell RC (70/30 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt+), 89 Harris RC (Nr/Mt), 115 Ham RC (Ex+), 400 Namath (90/10 T/B, otherwise Vg-Ex+), 455 Unitas (Ex), 475 Staubach (Vg-Ex+), and 487 Stabler RC (Ex).
2) 1974 (528): Condition is 35% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (mostly Nr/Mt), 54% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 11% Vg to Vg-Ex (including four that measure small). Keys: #1 Simpson (Ex-Mt), 105 Rashad RC (Nr/Mt), 150 Unitas (Ex-Mt), 219 Guy RC (Nr/Mt), 220 Harris (Ex-Mt), 383 Hannah RC (Vg), 470 Bradshaw (2/98 T/B, otherwise Ex-Mt) and 500 Staubach (Ex-Mt).
3) 1975 (528): Condition is 45% Nr/Mt or better, 41% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 14% Vg to Vg-Ex. Keys: #12 Blount RC (Vg+), 39 Bleier RC (Ex), 145 Staubach (Ex), 282 Swann RC (Vg-Ex), 367 Fouts RC (25/75 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt), 416 Theismann RC (Vg-Ex+) and 461 Bradshaw (70/30 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt).
4) 1976 (528): Condition is 34% Nr/Mt or better, 56% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 10% Vg to Vg-Ex. Keys: #140 Swann (Ex due to centering), 148 Payton RC (Ex), 158 White RC (80/20 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt), 220 Lambert RC (Ex), and 395 Staubach (Nr/Mt).
5) 1977 (528): Condition is 53% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including a few Mint), 38% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 9% Vg to Vg-Ex. Keys: #29 Selmon RC (Vg), 146 Carson RC (Ex), 177 Largent RC (25/75 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt+), 360 Payton (Vg-Ex+), 380 Casper RC (Vg-Ex) and 397 Papale RC (Vg-Ex).
6) 1978 (528): Condition is 70% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including some Mint), 25% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 5% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a few miscut). Keys: #200 Payton (Ex), 217 Dean RC (Nr/Mt+), 315 Dorsett RC (Ex), 320 Stallworth RC (70/30 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt) and 443 Largent (Ex).
7) 1979 (528): Condition is 58% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including some Mint), 37% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 5% Vg to Vg-Ex. Keys: #308 Newsome RC (65/35 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt), 310 Lofton RC 30/70 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt(), 390 Campbell RC (90/10 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt+) and 480 Payton (70/30 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt).
