Original news photo capturing the 1969 World Champion New York Mets in a traditional team pose. Encapsulated (old holder) and certified as an original Type 1 photograph by PSA/DNA. Thirty-six team members are pictured posing together on the field at Shea Stadium, including Gil Hodges (Mgr.), Yogi Berra (coach), Tom Seaver, Nolan Ryan, Tug McGraw, Jerry Koosman, and Ron Swoboda. An "United Press International" credit stamp appears on the reverse, as does the original paper news caption, dated "9-20-69." The photo (10 x 8 inches) displays a tiny edge tear and few light creases. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
