Washington Senators ticket stub (2.25 x 2.75 inches) issued for Game 2 of the 1924 World Series against the New York Giants. Graded VG 3 by PSA. This is the only example graded at this level, with NONE graded higher. This is the first 1924 World Series Game 2 ticket we have ever handled and we cannot recall the last time we have seen another. Both Goose Goslin and Bucky Harris hit home runs to help Tom Zachary win his first of two games for the Senators in the 1924 World Series in Game 2, held at Griffith Stadium on October 5th. Washington went on to defeat the Giants in seven games, winning their first World Championship in franchise history. Reserve $100. Estimate (open).
