Presented is an extremely rare mechanical layout for "Mother's Milk," the fourth studio album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Released in 1989, the album cover features band members cradled in the arms of a woman. A transparency of the band members image is featured in this lot along with production related items for a Mother's Day-style card designed for women and signed by band members. Included is a large sheet of paper featuring full signatures of the band members, including Anthony Kiedis, Flea, and John Frusciante. Each member has penned a small holiday-themed inscription alongside their signature. This larger sheet was copied and reduced for the final issue piece. This is a fascinating and possibly unique piece of memorabilia worthy of even the most advanced collection. Pre-certified by Steve Grad and Brian Sobrero/Beckett Authentication Services. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
