Scarce circa 1938 Cotton Club program signed by Cab Calloway on the front cover. Calloway's signature has been scripted in red pencil and grades "8/9." The lavishly illustrated 16-page program (9 x 12.25 inches) features a two-page spread devoted to Calloway, along with features on many of the other performers, including Mae Johnson, the Nicholas Brothers, the Berry Brothers, the Dandridge Sisters, June Richmond, and Sister Tharpe. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall, displaying moderate handling wear. Pre-certified by Steve Grad and Brian Sobrero/Beckett Authentication Services. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
