Philadelphia Athletics ticket stub (4 x 1.75 inches) issued for Game 2 of the 1913 World Series against the New York Giants held at Shibe Park on October 8th. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. This is the only example graded at this level, with just three graded higher. In a duel between future Hall of Fame pitchers, Christy Mathewson defeated Eddie Plank 3-0 in ten innings, in what would be the Giants' only win of the Series. The Athletics' World Series victory gave Connie Mack his third World Championship in four years. An outstanding example of this scarce World Series ticket stub. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
