Graded EX-MT 6 by BVG. Very attractive rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax. This is one of the 1950s' most famous and noteworthy cards. The 1955 Topps Koufax rookie (#123) is also the most valuable card in that year's set after Roberto Clemente's rookie card in the high-number series. The card displays brilliant colors, light corner wear (more so on the upper right), near-perfect registration, and centering slightly toward the top left. Clean reverse. This is a solid mid-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card, one of the most popular and classic of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
