This quartet of circa 1910 cigarette packages consists of one ten-count Sweet Caporal box, and three ten-count Piedmont boxes. As most T206 collectors are aware, the Sweet Caporal and Piedmont brands are the most common of all advertising backs. Not surprisingly, the popularity of each brand has resulted in more packages having survived compared to the many other brands represented in the T-206 set., but they are by no means common. Each package measures 1.75 x 3 x .75 inches and does not contain any cigarettes. The Sweet Caporal package is in Good condition overall, with tears to the interior components. Two of the Piedmont boxes are in Very Good condition overall, while the other is in Good condition. An attractive grouping of vintage cigarette boxes that would be perfect for display with either Piedmont or Sweet Caporal tobacco cards. Total: 4 boxes. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
