Program, full ticket, and original photo from the Heavyweight Championship bout between Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott held at Chicago Stadium, in Chicago, Illinois, on May 15, 1953. This was the rematch between the two after Marciano won the title by knocking out Walcott in the 13th round of their first epic fight. The second fight ended the same way, but much earlier, as Marciano knocked out Walcott in the first round. The 32-page program (9 x 11.75 inches) is not scored and remains in Excellent condition overall. The full "General Admission" ticket (6 x 2.5 inches) is in Near Mint condition. The photo (9 x 7 inches), which pictures the two fighters mixing it up in the first round, features a "United Press" credit stamp on the reverse and is accompanied by the original paper news caption (detached), which is dated "5-16-53." In Very Good condition overall, with moderate creasing. Total: 3 items (progam, ticket, and photo). Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
