Graded MINT 9 by SGC (submitted by REA). Ultra high-grade rookie card of Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest basketball player ever. This is a magnificent example of the premier modern-day basketball card. It must be noted that this card was originally graded Authentic by PSA due to slightly flattened corners from more than twenty years in a screw-down holder. The card was presented to SGC for review with this information, and SGC graded it MINT 9. The 1986-1987 Fleer basketball issue is extremely condition-sensitive due to its blue-and-red flush-to-the-border design. The offered example is pack-fresh with four sharp corners, bright colors, a flawless image, and outstanding centering. Two tiny print marks on the right border are mentioned for accuracy. A spectacular example of this most sought-after modern basketball-card classic in Mint condition. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,500+.
