Complete original unopened cello box of 1983 Topps football. The box houses twenty-four packs with each pack containing twenty-eight cards, for a total of 672 cards. The 1983 Topps set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Marcus Allen, Mike Singletary, and Kenny Easley, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Walter Payton and Joe Montana. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards of these stars, as well as many other top players of the day. The store display box is bright and bold with moderate shelf wear, light soiling on the bottom panel, and black close-out marking written on the lid. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). Noted on the Baseball Card Exchange label is the presence of a cello pack with #294 Marcus Allen rookie showing on bottom! An outstanding unopened box from this popular 1980s football set!
