Original photo of Hall of Fame pitcher Herb Pennock as a member of the New York Yankees, taken by renowned baseball photographer Charles Conlon. Certified as an original Type I Charles Conlon photograph by PSA/DNA. Pennock is captured warming up on the sidelines prior to a game. Conlon's handwritten notations on the reverse include his name, "Conlon," and "Pennock (Yankees)." This photo was originally obtained at the sale of the Baseball Magazine archives at Christie's in 1996 and, as such, bears the special hologram label from that sale on the reverse. The photo (6.5 x 8.5 inches) displays a tiny tear in the upper left border and a few light surface wrinkles. In Very Good condition overall. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
