Original photo, taken by noted baseball photographer Paul Thompson, picturing Hall of Fame shortstop Bobby Wallace as a member of the St. Louis Browns, circa 1910. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I Paul Thompson photograph by PSA/DNA. The rare game-action image captures Wallace at bat awaiting the pitch, with both the catcher and umpire (partially seen) also pictured. Thompson's credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with Wallace's name and team affiliation written in pencil, a "The Ring Inc." stamping, and a few miscellaneous ink notations. Although no year is listed, the uniform style worn by Wallace was only used by the Browns between the years 1908 and 1910. The photo (8.5 x 6.5 inches) displays a small tear in the lower right corner and light surface wrinkles throughout.
