Presented is an extremely rare pair of candy cards representing both types (1 and 2) for Bill Rapps of the Portland Beavers from the 1911 E100 Bishop & Company PCL set, each graded and encapsulated by PSA. 1) 1911 E100 Bishop & Co. (Type 1): Rapps (VG 3). Very attractive mid-grade example with flawless image registration, evenl wear on the corners, and well centered. The checklist back is fairly clean with bold print. 2) 1911 E100 Bishop & Co. (Type 2): Rapps (PR-FR 1). The card is centered slightly to the top with evenly rounded corners, flawless image registration, and a heavy crease across the center. The blank back is lightly soiled. The Pacific Coast League has always been of great interest to card collectors. This is an extremely impressive pair of cards from two key vintage PCL sets, each of which would be a tremendous addition to any Pacific Coast League, prewar, or sample-card collection. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
