Circa 1920 salesman's portfolio, issued by the Forbes Lithograph Manufacturing Company, featuring eight beautiful full-color samples of the company's billboard advertisements. The unique design of each sample sheet features an identical illustration of a roadside billboard, with a different Forbes' full-color advertising lithograph affixed within its borders. The company's descriptive text appears in a preprinted box along the base. The highlight of this portfolio is two different vintage Coca-Cola advertisements. One was aimed specifically at retailers, while the other was produced for the typical consumer. The remaining sheets in the portfolio advertise for Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Jelke Good Luck Margarine, Armour's Star Bacon, Armours Star "The Ham What Am," and Cloverbloom Butter (2 different examples). Each sheet (12.5 x 9 inches) remains in Near Mint to Mint condition. The portfolio sleeve (9.5 x 13 inches) displays moderate-to-heavy handling wear, including a small chip in the lower right corner of the front cover. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
