Rare uncut display box proof sheet for the 1969 Topps football set. This box design was produced to hold twenty-four ten-cent wax packs of football cards. The box lid features an illustrated image of generic football players. The side of the box advertises the "Mini-Card Album" included in each package of cards. While it is impossible to know how many of these display box proof sheets exist, this is the first example we have ever seen or offered. The sheet (18 x 26 inches) has a couple minor creases, two tape stains, a few surface scratches, light stains, and printer notations along the blank white border area. Good condition overall. The box artwork remains in Excellent condition. A superb companion piece to any complete 1969 Topps football set or addition to any advertising or display collection.
