Four different 1979 Topps uncut production sheets, with 132 cards on each sheet, complete with printed reverses, loaded with Hall of Famers and stars, including Mike Schmidt, George Brett, and the rookie card of Ozzie Smith, the key card to the set. One row of each sheet is double-printed and includes Johnny Bench, Reggie Jackson, Tom Seaver, and Joe Morgan. These are full 132-card production sheets, each measuring approximately 28-3/8 x 43 inches, arranged in twelve rows of eleven cards each. The sheets present as Excellent or better, but display several minor imperfections, including light creasing affecting some of the interior cards, wear along the edges and at the corners, and notations on the bottom border. A small crease is very close to, but technically not affecting, the left border of the Ozzie Smith card. Despite these flaws, all of which are common when dealing with these large uncut sheets, the sheets offer outstanding visual appeal and are ideal candidates for framing and display. Four outstanding uncut sheets from this classic 1970s Topps issue, highlighted by several key Hall of Famers, including the rookie card of Ozzie Smith. Total: 4 sheets. The substantial size/weight of this item requires that there will be a shipping charge for this lot. Reserve $400. Estimate (open).
