Two complete sets of 1977-1978 Topps Basketball on one 264-card uncut final production double sheet. The 1977-1978 Topps series features numerous stars and Hall of Famers, including Julius Erving, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Adrian Dantley RC, Robert Parish RC, and Pete Maravich, among others. This 264-card "Jumbo" sheet measures approximately 43 x 57 inches. Because of the large size, it is susceptible to minor imperfections. The sheet has various minor condition flaws such as creases, edge wear, and few areas of paper loss on the borders. This sheet is very bright, clean, and extremely impressive, and could easily be cut down into two standard 132-card sheets. Assigning an overall grade to uncut sheets, especially one of this impressive size, can be extremely difficult. Many of the interior cards on this sheet would grade Nr/Mt. As outlined above, the various condition flaws, mostly relegated to the edges, corners, or outside cards, would cause the sheet to grade more modestly overall. Despite these condition flaws, the sheet displays beautifully with bold, bright colors, and would serve as an outstanding addition to any advanced basketball or uncut-sheet collection.
