Collection of over 1,225 tobacco coupons (slight duplication) from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. These coupons - which are mostly found from the first two decades of the 20th Century (a few span up into the 1940s and isolated instances of British-types, as well) - were used as marketing tools and were available as redemptions for a wide variety of prizes; flags, Indian Chiefs, photos of baseball players, as well as automotive items and household fixtures. The vast majority of these are tobacco-orientated coupons (which were packaged with cigarettes), however, some of them appeared with other smoking products. For the most part, this collection is organized alphabetically by brand and the highlights include such brands as; Allen & Ginter, Buchner, Duke, Fatima, Fez, Goodwin & Co., Hassan, Helmar, Kinney, P. Lorillard, Mayo, Mecca, Murad, Piedmont, Sovereign, Sweet Caporal, Turkey Red and Yum-Yum. Overall, the cards carry a presentation quality of about Excellent. Total: 1,225 coupons. Reserve $1,000.
