Scarce pin issue in commemoration of the Boston Red Sox’s 1912 World Championship. This piece, which is just the second example we have ever offered, was issued as a promotional piece from a local merchant. The red-and-white pin features a central motif consisting of an illustrated cap, two crossed bats, and a red sock. The lettering along the perimeter reads "Champions - Compliments of A. Shulman & Co." Complete with its original paper backing that bears the name of the manufacturer “Ehrman Mfg Co., Boston, Mass.” 1.25 inches in diameter. Excellent to Mint condition.
