Tremendous collection of forty-six assorted cello, wax, and rack boxes manufactured by Donruss, Fleer, Topps, and Upper Deck, and spanning the years 1982 to 1989. These boxes were put away throughout the 1980s and have not seen the light of day in over 30 years. A large percentage of the cello and rack packs have Hall of Famers and stars showing on top and/or bottom including: Boggs, Brett, Mattingly, Ripken, Rose, Ryan, Schmidt, and Seaver. The interior packs are in Excellent or better condition (mostly Near Mint or better), have never been handled, and display only normal packing and storage wear, if any at all (sometimes in the manufacturer's packaging process a pack can have a tiny corner tear or minor imperfection). All thirteen cello boxes and both rack boxes have pen markings on multiple edges and flaps of the boxes. 1) 1982 Donruss wax box: Box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack for a total of 540 cards. 2) 1982 Topps wax box: Box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack for a total of 540 cards. 3) Four 1982 Topps cello boxes (all wrapped by BBCE): Each box contains 24 packs per box with 28 cards per pack for a total of 2,688 cards. 4) 1983 Fleer wax box: Box contains 38 packs with 15 cards per pack for a total of 570 cards. 5) Four 1983 Topps wax boxes (all wrapped by BBCE): Each box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack for a total of 2,160 cards. 6) Two 1983 Topps cello boxes (one full, and one minus six packs): Full box contains 24 packs, partial box contains 18 packs, with 28 cards per pack for a total of 1,176 cards. 7) 1983 Topps rack box (minus two packs): Box contains 22 packs with 51 cards per pack for a total of 1,122 cards. Key showing: Sandberg RC (bottom). 8) 1984 Fleer cello box: Box contains 24 packs with 28 cards per pack for a total of 672 cards. 9) Two 1984 Topps wax boxes: Each box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack for a total of 1,080 cards. 10) Five 1984 Topps cello boxes (four full, and one minus eight packs): Each full box contains 24 packs, partial box contains 16 packs, with 28 cards per pack for a total of 3,136 cards. Keys showing include: three Strawberry RC (top), three Ripken (top), and two Ryan (top). 11) Two 1985 Donruss-Leaf (Canadian) wax boxes: Each box contains 36 packs with 12 cards per pack for a total of 864 cards. 12) 1985 Fleer wax box: Box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack for a total of 540 cards. 13) Two 1985 Topps cello boxes (one full, and one minus three packs): Full box contains 24 packs, partial box contains 21 packs, with 28 cards per pack for a total of 1,260 cards. Keys showing on packs include: two McGwire RC (top) and one McGwire RC (bottom). 14) 1985 Topps rack box: Box contains 24 packs with 48 cards per pack for a total of 1,152 cards. Keys showing on packs include: three Puckett RC (top), one Puckett RC (bottom), and one McGwire RC (bottom). 15) Three 1986 Fleer cello boxes (two full, and one minus four packs): Each full box contains 24 packs, partial box contains 20 packs, with 28 cards per pack for a total of 1,904 cards. 16) Six 1986 Topps wax boxes: Each box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack, for a total of 3,240 cards. 17) Four 1987 Donruss wax boxes: Each box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack, for a total of 2,160 cards. 18) Three 1987 Fleer cello boxes: Each box contains 24 packs with 31 cards per pack, for a total of 2,232 cards. 19) 1989 Upper Deck Low-Number series wax box: Box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack, for a total of 540 cards. 20) 1989 Upper Deck High-Number series wax box: Box contains 36 packs with 15 cards per pack, for a total of 540 cards. This is a tremendous unopened collection with many highlights. There are no guarantees with reference to grading unopened material, but it would be hard to imagine that these boxes do not include a generous supply of potential Mint cards of every player in their respective set, including rookie cards of Ripken, Boggs, Gwynn, Sandberg, Mattingly, Strawberry, Puckett, McGwire, and many more. This vast collection includes a total of 1,371 packs (of which 1,348 packs complete twenty-four wax boxes, sixteen cello boxes, and one rack) representing 28,116 cards.
