Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only five examples graded at this level with just two higher. Exceptional ultra high-grade example of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson from the 1954 N. Y. Journal American set, which features exclusively members of the three New York teams (Dodgers, Giants, and Yankees). Jackie Robinson is the key card to this set, along with Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays. Perfectly clean and crisp with four sharp corners, bold printing, and outstanding centering. The reverse is perfectly clean with bold black print. This is an extraordinary example of this rare and condition-sensitive regional issue, which would be an outstanding addition to any Jackie Robinson or Hall of Fame collection. Reserve $300.
