Each of the three New York Yankee tickets in this collection commemorates a milestone achievement or event in the career of Mickey Mantle. All of the tickets (2 stubs and one full ticket), which span the years 1966 to 1973, have been encapsulated by PSA, with two of the tickets having received numerical grades. 1) July 23, 1966, at Yankee Stadium vs. Angels. Stub. Mantle's final grand slam, 492nd home run of his career, and 19th home run of the season. Graded EX-MT 6 (one of two graded at this level, with none graded higher). 1.5 x 3 inches. 2) August 27, 1968, at Yankee Stadium vs. Angels. Stub. Mantle's 1,500th RBI. First game of the double header. Certified "Authentic." 1.5 x 2.75 inches. Ink notations on the reverse recording the score of the game, the date and the pitchers of record; otherwise Ex-Mt. 3) August 11, 1973, at Yankee Stadium. Mantle's final home run at Yankee Stadium. Full ticket. The home run occurred during the club's annual Old Timers Day game and Mantle hit the home run off his longtime friend and teammate Whitey Ford. It was the last time Mantle ever circled the bases at Yankee Stadium in a Yankees uniform. Graded EX 5 (only example graded at this level, with none graded higher). 1.5 x 5.75 inches. Total: 3 tickets. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
