Among Babe Ruth's more unusual endorsements was the brand of underwear that bore his name. The colorful box in which underwear was sold features Ruth's portrait and has always been extremely popular with baseball and general advertising collectors alike. Offered is an extraordinary example of this classic box, which houses two pair of "Babe Ruth Juniors All America Athletic Underwear" still wrapped in the original paper band. Even the original green tissue paper remains intact. This box has basically been untouched since the day it was purchased! The Babe Ruth brand underwear and paper band display a few scattered areas of light foxing, with the band also displaying a few small tears; otherwise all of the items remain in their original state of issue. The box also is an exceptional example and displays only light handling wear, including a few tiny abrasions. In Excellent to Mint condition overall.
