Ultra-high-grade complete set of 1965 A & BC Gum "Battle," which memorializes the horrors of World War II. These cards were issued in the United Kingdom by A & BC Gum, the international arm of Topps, and are similar in design to the Battle cards issued in the states but are slightly smaller in size. Because this set was issued in the United Kingdom, many American collectors have never seen this issue. Condition is 76% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including a few Mint) and 24% Ex to Ex-Mt (including four with a slight trim). Two cards are graded and encapsulated by PSA. Keys: #1 “Fight to the Death” (slight trim, otherwise Nr/Mt), 18 Jungle Duel (NM-MT 8), 24 Trapped! (NM 7), and 73 Checklist (small print defect, otherwise Ex+).
