1952 Bowman baseball uncut sheet with twenty-one different final series cards, including Willie Mays. This is a complete final production sheet with fully printed backs. Cards #217-223, 226-232, and 244-250 appear on this sheet, including Hall of Famers #217 Casey Stengel, 218 Willie Mays, and 232 Enos Slaughter. This twenty-one-card sheet is a partial sheet as 1952 Bowmans were printed in thirty-six-card uncut sheets, nine cards across and four down. The front of the sheet has an Excellent appearance, with minor faults upon very close inspection (as is usually the case with sheets); approximately half of the cards, including the key cards #217 Stengel and 218 Mays, display several light wrinkles or creases, a few surface indentations, and in the case of the four corner cards, light corner wear (more wear on the upper two). The reverse is clean with bold printing, and several wrinkles or creases visible. Aside from the noted condition flaws, this is a beautiful sheet with perfect colors and tremendous display value. Ideal for framing, on the wall this sheet has a strong overall Excellent appearance. This is a very sharp-looking 1952 Bowman baseball uncut sheet highlighted by one of the key Hall of Famers in the set. Dimensions: 14.25 x 9.25 inches. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
