Pair of uncut panels of “strip-cards” from the 1920s highlighted by twelve Hall of Famers including the legendary Christy Mathewson and infamous Black Sox member Eddie Cicotte. 1) 1921 W516-2-1: The 10-card strip (15 x 2.25 inches) is composed of the following players: #21 Bancroft (HOF), 22 Rousch (HOF), 23 Young, 24 Hooper (HOF, misidentified on card as "Ed"), 25 Kelley, 26 Milan, 27 Mathewson (HOF), 28 E. Collins (HOF), 29 Gowdy, and 30 Cicotte (Black Sox). A portion of the right-side of the end card (Cicotte) is attached by clear tape , otherwise in Good condition. 2) 1923 W515-1: The 10-card strip (13.75 x 2.25 inches) is composed of the following players: #51 Schalk (HOF), 52 Groh, 53 W. Robinson - Manager (HOF), 54 Burns, 55 Hornsby (HOF), 56 Wheat (HOF), 57 Rousch (HOF), 58 E. Collins (HOF), 59 Hollocher, and 60 Faber (HOF). Heavy crease through the Wheat card from the top to bottom the edge, otherwise Vg. A very unusual pair of uncut strip cards highlighted by the legendary Christy Mathewson. Total: 2 uncut panels.
